About the Doctor
Born and raised in the Bay Area, Dr. Henry Ma received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He then completed his advanced specialty training at Penn’s world-renowned Endodontics residency program. During his time there, he taught microendodontic techniques such as those for apicoectomy to visiting endodontists from around the world. He also conducted extensive research on Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) usage in root canal therapy. Dr. Ma combines technological innovation with genuine compassion to provide his patients with outstanding quality care. He thoroughly explains the best treatment options for each individual and focuses on minimizing dental anxiety and discomfort throughout the entire visit.
Dr. Ma is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists, the California Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.
In his free time, he enjoys training Brazilian jiu-jitsu, playing basketball, cooking, and coaching high school wrestling.
